Bay Point Church is committed to helping our neighbors and caring for our world. We want to help improve the quality of life for people in need and to bring the good news of God’s hope and healing to them. We honor our commitment by sharing God’s love daily through different regional and global mission opportunities.

Do all the good you can, by all the means you can, in all the ways you can, in all the places you can, at all the times you can, to all the people you can, as long as you can. –John Wesley

Crop Walk

Since the early 1980’s our Church has annually participated in the National “Crop Walk” Campaign with other churches in the community to raise money to fight against hunger and starvation. Walkers are asked to get pledges for each mile walked. The word “crop” is the name given to community wide hunger education and fundraising events sponsored by Church World Service.

CROPWALKERS WALK to help families receive food and shelter as they rebuild their homes and lives, to help communities have wells that provide safe, clean drinking water close to home, to provide food for local emergency food programs throughout the United States, and because millions of people around the world walk everyday for food, shelter, water and survival.

Our community receives 25% of the funds raised at the Venice Crop Walk to support the outreach feeding programs of the Salvation Army, South County Food Pantry, Meals of Wheels, and the Venice Area Ministerial Association.
