The Van Nuys UMC Music Academy offers free music lessons for young people. We believe music is one of God’s greatest gifts, so we encourage young people to discover the joy of playing an instrument for themselves.

How Lessons Work

Lessons take place at the church, during or after the 10 o'clock service. We offer lessons for a variety of instruments, including Violin, Guitar, and Piano.

In addition to lessons, students regularly have performance opportunities in the church, from Sunday services to special events like our annual Spanish American Institute Benefit Concert.
